There is an open invitation to all pipers and drummers from the community to meet at the cemetery at 11:30. Dave Massey will be coordinating players there at that time. If you are playing the Pipes or Drums please manage your time to be at the cemetery by 11:30 to tune up.

At the cemetery, we are to play Going Home as the casket is moved and Amazing Grace at the end.

Bill Sandbach - Pipe Major. Message from David Sandbach "To the members of the John Ford Highland Pipe Band, your families, and to those who knew him, it is with a great deal of sadness that I must let you know that Pipe Major William Sandbach passed away suddenly on 08-15-2008. In the coming days ahead, we will take the time to remember Dad for what he has meant to the family that makes up the Band, the bagpiping community here in St. Louis and wherever his talents took him. May God bless you all during this time.

Today, we have a parade in Columbia IL. He would have wanted us to go ahead and do the parade. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. Bill, you will be missed my friend.

Our New Web Site Back On Line. It may not seem it but I spent months creating our new web site. There is a lot of things that need sorting but it is all in hand. Please see "Web Site Updates" page for full details. I will be updating this page soon. Just not a priority at the moment.

Practice Location returned to the American Legion hall. After many months of playing at temporary location we are back at our old location. Namely the American Legion Hall in Overland. You can get the exact location by going to the google calendar; link on left; and it will show you a map to the hall.
